Spreading a little potty training link love.

Over at The Daughter Chronicles, a father writes about his daughter's first poop:

I think she was afraid we wouldn't be able to stop the movie while she cleaned up, so she figured she would just stay on the potty until the movie ended. When it did so, she dutifully wiped herself and stood up. Lo and behold, there was the magical turd! There was much rejoicing.

We cleaned up, me praising her all the while, and then we called Mommy. Norah has only recently decided to talk into the phone, so I put her on and told her to tell Mommy what she had done. Very clearly, she said, "I poop in toilet."

At Mike's World News, another father writes the sometimes potty training rewards work a little too well. The post is cleverly titled "Potty Mouth":

Currently, we are using a potty chart and each time Mikey uses the potty, he puts a sticker on it... although recently, every time he goes, he gets a little mini bag of M&Ms. A night or two ago, Mikey was about to go to bed and told us he had to go pee-pee. I took him into the bathroom and he went pee-pee. Afterwards, we went into Mommy';s office and he got a sticker and put it on his potty chart. He then asks ..."What do I get?" Mommy told him that he got a sticker for his potty chart. Mikey looks at her and said "What do I get to put in my mouth?"

Then mother and author of Through My Eyes, shares her excitement over her daughter's recent potty training success. With another child on the way, Mommy hopes to avoid having two children in diapers at the same time. We wish her luck!

Since she has started using the potty she has only gone pee in the potty but yesterday before church she went POO IN THE POTTY! hoary big exciting moment. It wasn't much but it was enough to count. It was especially exciting cause she doesn't even pee on the potty very often. Only 3 times since we have started. So this was a big deal.Way to go Lydia!

And the author of The Harris Family blog was planning ahead for the family's latest trip. Click over to see a really cute picture of their daughter's most recent potty training success:

Then came the car ride! With Hanna potty training, I have kind of learned her schedule for, ya know... So we brought our potty in the car. Good thing we did. I just couldn't help taking a picture of it. So funny!
